Product Overview
PTCES67R251STE is a PTCES series SMD PTC thermistor. This directly heated ceramic-based doped barium titanate thermistor has a positive temperature coefficient and is primarily intended for inrush current limiting and overload protection. It consists of a solder-connected homogeneous ceramic PTC encapsulated in a UL 94 V-0 approved PPS-GF housing. It is ideal for inrush current limiting and energy-dump resistor in AC/DC and DC/DC converters, energy dump and DC-Link circuits, emergency discharge circuits, OBC, battery charging equipment, and motor drives.
- High number of inrush-power cycles: > 100000 cycles
- Suitable for reflow soldering, insulated housing up to 3kV AC
- Highly resistant against shock and vibration
- Self protecting in case of overload with no risk of over-heating
- AEC-Q200 qualified
- Resistance (25°C) is 250 ohm
- Resistance tolerance (25°C) is ±30%
- Operating voltage is 600Vrms maximum
- 71mA maximum holding current
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 105°C
