TLP291-4 is an infrared LED and phototransistor. It consists of phototransistors optically coupled to an infrared LED. The TLP291-4 Photocoupler is housed in a very small and thin package. Since the TLP291-4 is guaranteed over a wide operating temperature range, it is suitable for high-density surface mount applications such as programmable controllers. Application includes programmable logic controllers (PLCs), switching power supplies, simplex/multiplex data transmission.
