The Startech P5Q4A-USB-CARD is a versatile hardware upgrade that will effectively expand the USB connectivity of your server or desktop system. The card provides four independant USB-A 5Gb/s from a single PCI-Express 2.0 x4 connection. The card utilises four host controller chipsets so each port operates on a separate channel and provides up to 5Gb/s, reducing bottlenecks and effectively quadrupling the total available bandwidth to 20Gb/s.
- Provides four external USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with horizontal layout to reduce the risk of port clearance issues
- Each USB port has a dedicated controller to ensure full bandwidth up to 5Gb/s is available
- Ideal for simultaneously transferring large files across multiple storage devices
- Optional SATA power provides additional power to the USB ports when motherboard power is insufficient
- PCI-Express 2.0 (x4) Interface
- Drivers automatically install in most OS including Windows 8 or later and Linux
- Supports Windows 7/8/10/11, Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 and Linux 2.6.31+ (LTS only)
