Product Overview

ECWFG series metallized polypropylene film capacitors for automotive applications. It features large current handling, high reliability and high safety, contributing to high-power OBC production and safety improvement. These capacitors are suitable for DC/DC, AC/DC converter circuit in xEV, high frequency and high current circuits. The ECWFG series achieves larger allowable current that is two times as large as the allowable current of the ECWFE series (at 105°C).
  • AEC-Q200 compliant
  • Non-inductive construction using metallized polypropylene film with flame retardant plastic case
  • High safety (with safety function)
  • High moisture resistance (85°C, 85%)
  • High thermal shock resistance (600 to 1100V : -55°C to 85°C, 1000 cycles)
  • High temperature load test (125°C)
  • Non-combustible resin
  • Provided with security mechanism (fuse) which ensures the safety of the product (open failure mode)
