Product Overview
Bluetooth® 5 Low Energy Module based on the Nordic nRF52840 single-chip controller. The Bluetooth® 5 feature enables a higher symbol rate of 2Mbps using the high-speed LE 2M PHY. Furthermore, the new LE advertising extensions allow for much larger amounts of data to be broadcasted in connectionless scenarios. In addition to Bluetooth® 5, the qualified Bluetooth® mesh profile stack supports 802.15.4 and NFC-A. With its ARM® Cortex®-M4F a 1MB flash and a 256Kb RAM, the PAN1780 offers high design flexibility. It can easily be used in standalone mode, there by eliminating the need for an external processor - saving complexity, space and cost.
