Product Overview
FAN53730UCX is a constant on-time (COT) buck converter that supports a minimum of 3A load current. This device’s COT topology provides the fastest transient recovery and optimal efficiency vs load due to its variable frequency operation. It is used in applications such as LPDDR memory, mobile and smart devices, and RF modules.
- Input voltage range from 2.3V to 5.5V, power good output (PG)
- Internal soft-start limits input current during turn-on, 1.2V and 1.8V logic compatible
- Fault protection (input under voltage, short circuit, over current, and thermal)
- 2.5MHz switching frequency in continuous conduction operation
- Forced continuous conduction mode, DCM quiescent current is 12.8µA typical
- Audio reduction mode eliminates audible tones due to switching
- Soft start is 800µs typical at (from EN High to 95% of VOUT Target, no load, [RR-DVS] = 001)
- Load regulation is 0.6%/A maximum at (IOUT = 10A to 3A, VIN = 2.5V to 5.5V)
- Load regulation is 0.4%/A typical at (IOUT = 10A to 3A, VIN = 2.5V to 5.5V)
- Ambient temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, WLCSP12 package
