MIKROE-6854

MIKROE-6854 is a Hall Current 24 Click compact add-on board designed to provide AC/DC current measurement for real-time monitoring, protection and control in embedded and industrial systems by converting sensed magnetic fields into a proportional voltage output. This board is based on MCS1826-05, linear hall-effect current sensor from Monolithic Power Systems which features a differential hall array architecture to cancel stray magnetic fields and ensure stable performance in electrically noisy environments. The board integrates an ultra-low resistance primary conductor for minimal power loss, supports an input current range of up to ±5A with typical sensitivity of 80xVCC mV/A, offers selectable analogue or digital output, includes fast active-low overcurrent detection for immediate fault signalling. It is ideal for motor control systems, load detection and power management, switch-mode power supplies, audio driver current regulation and overcurrent fault protection applications.
