Product Overview
MIKROE-6839 is a Hall Current 23 Click compact add-on board designed for bidirectional AC and DC current measurement in power conversion and energy-monitoring applications. It is based on ACS71010 (ACS71010GMATR-050B5), a factory-trimmed Hall-effect current sensor from Allegro Microsystems offering high linearity, low conductor resistance, and reinforced isolation for safe current monitoring. The board delivers a ±50A measurement range with 40mV/A sensitivity and integrates dual differential Hall plates for excellent immunity to external magnetic interference, while an onboard ADC122S101 12-bit dual-channel ADC digitizes both the sensor output and its reference voltage to enable differential measurements and accurate zero-current tracking. The device also supports hardware-configurable overcurrent protection. This Click is ideal for solar inverters, EV charging systems, energy storage solutions, power supplies, DC/AC phase current sensing in motor-drive or grid-connected applications.
