MIKROE-2219 is a 6LoWPAN C click compact add-on board that adds an IPv6 over low-power wireless personal area networks to your application. This board features the CC2520, a 2.4GHz IEEE802.15.4/Zigbee RF transceiver from Texas Instruments. Over a chip antenna, with 2394 up to 2507MHz frequency range and appropriate balun, this transceiver can achieve a data rate of up to 250Kbps. The transceiver has an excellent link budget of 103dB and can achieve communication of up to 400 meters of line-of-sight range. This Click board™ makes the perfect solution for the development of industrial monitoring and control systems, home and building automation, automatic meter readings, low-power wireless sensor networks, and more. 6LoWPAN C click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
