Product Overview
The 82357B from Keysight Technologies is a high speed USB/GPIB interface converter. It provides direct connection from USB port on laptop or desktop PC to GPIB instruments. There are no switches to set, no PC cards to install and no external power supplies required. Once software is loaded computer automatically detects 82357B when it is connected to the USB port of computer. The 82357B is a plug and play device. It is also hot pluggable making easy connect and disconnect without having to shut down computer. This USB/GPIB interface implements USB 1.1 (12Mbits/s) and is compatible with USB 2.0. The 82357 uses a thin and flexible high quality USB 2.0 compliant cable. The USB cable is shielded and connector is specified to 1500 insertion cycles ensuring a durable connection and reliable data transfer.

- USB 2.0 interface and IEEE-488.1/IEEE-488.2 interface (connect up to 14 GPIB instruments)
- Maximum GPIB transfer rate of 1.15MB/s
- Parallel polling (check response of up to 8 devices at one single poll) capability

- SICL and VISA 2.2 compliant
- USB bus powered device (5V, 500mA (maximum), 20mA (typical))
- Operating temperature range 0°C to 55°C
