One microamp supply-current, +3V to +5.5V, 250Kbps, RS232 transmitter/receiver. It is suitable for use in any system requiring RS232 communication ports like battery powered, hand-held and portable equipment, laptop computers, notebooks, palmtops, cellular/mobile phones, digital cameras, modems, printers and other peripherals.
- 15KV ESD protected (Human Body Model)
- Drop in Replacements for MAX3232
- Low power upgrade for HIN232/ICL232 and pin compatible competitor devices
- RS232 compatible with VCC = 2.7V
- Meets EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 specifications at 3V
- Latch-up free
- On-chip voltage converters require only four external 0.1µF capacitors at VCC = 3.3V
- Receiver hysteresis for improved noise immunity
- Wide power supply range
- 1µA low supply current in power down state
