Product Overview
HMC321ALP4E is a broadband nonreflective GaAs SP8T switch. This switch also includes an on board binary decoder circuit which reduces the required logic control lines to three. The switch operates using a positive control voltage of 0/+5 volts, and requires a fixed bias of +5 volts. Typical application includes This switch is suitable for usage in DC - 8.0 GHz 50-Ohm or 75-Ohm systems broadband, fibre optics, switched filter banks, wireless below 8GHz.

- Insertion loss is 1.7dB (typ, DC - 2.0GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Isolation is 50dB (typ, DC - 2.0GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Return loss is 16dB (typ, DC - 4.0GHz, “on state”)
- Return loss (RF1 - RF8) is 15dB (typ, “off state”, 2.0 to 8.0GHz)
- Input power for 1dB compression is 26dBm (typ, 0.5 to 8.0GHz)
- Input third order intercept (two-tone input power = +7dBm each tone, 1MHz spacing) is 38dBm (typ)
- Switching characteristics is 25ns (typ, DC - 8.0GHz, tRISE, tFALL (10/90% RF))
- 24 lead QFN package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
