Product Overview
HMC305SLP4E is a broadband 5-bit positive control silicon IC digital attenuator with CMOS compatible serial-to-parallel driver. Five bit serial control words are used to select each attenuation state. Typical application includes cellular infrastructure, wireless infrastructure, microwave radio & VSAT, test instrumentation.
- TTL/CMOS compatible serial data interface
- SPI compatible serial output
- Excellent attenuation accuracy is ±0.25dB typical bit error
- ESD rating: Class 2 (2kV HBM)
- Insertion loss is 1.0dB (typ, 0.4 to 1.4GHz, TA = +25°C, Vcc = +3.3V to +5V)
- Attenuation range is 15.5dB (typ, 0.4 to 7.0GHz, TA = +25°C, Vcc = +3.3V to +5V)
- Return loss (RF1 & RF2, all atten. states) is 25dB (typ, 0.4 to 1.4GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input power for 0.1dB compression is 28dBm (typ, 0.4 to 6.0GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input third order intercept point (two-tone input power = 16dBm each tone) is 52dBm (typ)
- 24 lead QFN package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
