The LED's are integrated into the modular jack thus eliminating the need for additional system space for indicators. The modular jack functions as transmit/receive with line status and collisions identified by viewing the LED's directly in each port. Recommended applications include Fast Ethernet, 10 Base-T Ethernet and 10/100 BaseT Ethernet (Cat 5 on two pair 1/2, 3/6)
