Product Overview
The CD4046BE is a CMOS micropower phase locked loop (PLL) in 16 pin DIP package. It consists of low power, linear voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) and two different phase comparators having common signal input amplifier and common comparator input. A 5.2V zener diode is provided for supply regulation if necessary.
- Very low power consumption of 70µW at VCO fo = 10KHz and VDD = 5V
- Maximum operating frequency of 2.4MHz at VDD = 15V and R1 = 5Kohm
- Low frequency drift of 0.04%/°C at VDD = 10V
- Supply voltage range from 3V to 18V
- VCO inhibit control for ON-OFF keying and ultra low standby power consumption
- Source follower output of VCO control input (demodulation output)
- Standardized, symmetrical output characteristics
- 5V, 10V and 15V parametric ratings
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C
