The Startech 1P3FFCNB-USB-SERIAL is designed to add legacy functionality to modern PCs that lack RS232 serial connections. This FTDI-based adaptor lets you easily add an RS232 null modem serial port to your computer via an available USB port. Secure the adaptor to a serial device using the pre-installed and removable D-Sub thumbscrews or install the included DB-9 Nuts for compatibility with other serial peripheral devices. The adaptor provides 1m cable length and features integrated LED indicators that provide real time monitoring of port activity and USB connection.
