GE cPCI-5565PIORC is a 256MB SDRAM PXI reflective memory module. It provides a high-speed, low-latency, deterministic interface that user can use to share data between up to 256 independent systems. Each module contains 256MB of on-board SDRAM, which provides fast read access times to stored data. The module stores written data in the local SDRAM and broadcasts the data over a high-speed, fibre-optic data path to other reflective memory nodes. The transfer of data between nodes is software transparent, requiring no processor overhead. It allows computers, workstations, PLCs, and other embedded controllers to all share data in real-time.
