Vishay AY2 Series AC Rated Safety Capacitors are AEC-Q200 approved and made to meet IEC 60384-14.3, 3rd edition, which specifies excellent reliability for Class X1 (440VAC) and Y2 (300VAC) automotive applications. In addition to high-reliability industrial applications, the AY2 family, which includes ceramic dielectrics U2J, Y5S, and Y5U, is designed for on-board chargers and battery management in electric automobiles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). With tolerances as low as ±10%, the capacitors have a capacitance range of 10pF to 4700pF and a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
