The MAX11636EEE+ is a low cost, 8-channel, serial 12bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) with differential track/hold and internal reference in 16 pin QSOP package. This device has on-chip 16 entry FIFO, scan mode, internal clock mode, internal averaging and AutoShutdown function. The maximum sampling rate is 300Ksps using an external clock. The MAX11636 has 8 input channels. It operates from either +5V supply and contains 10MHz SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE compatible serial port. The device has supply current of 2300µA at fSAMPLE = 300Ksps (internal reference) and 1500µA at fSAMPLE = 300Ksps (external reference). The MAX11636 typically used in system supervision, data acquisition systems and data logging applications.
- Supply voltage range is 4.75V to 5.25V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- 8-channel single ended and 4-channel true differential unipolar or bipolar inputs
- Analogue multiplexer with true differential track/hold
- Full power bandwidth (-3dB point) of 1MHz & full linear bandwidth (S/(N + D) > 68dB) of 100KHz
- 1V to VDD external reference
- Power supply rejection of ±0.2mV at VDD = 4.75V to 5.25V, full scale input
- Offset error of ±0.5LSB and offset error temperature coefficient of ±2ppm/°C FSR
- INL of ±1LSB and DNL of ±1LSB (no missing codes over temperature)
- Gain error of ±0.5LSB and gain temperature coefficient of ±0.8ppm/°C
