Product Overview

The IRS-B210ST01 from Murata is a SMD type pyroelectric infrared sensor. This device detects infrared rays using the pyroelectric effect which is based on pyroelectric ceramics. This compact pyroelectric infrared sensors delivers high sensitivity and reliable performance. The IRS-B210ST01 sensor are compact low profile product that can be reflow soldered which makes them ideal for use in mass produced products especially LCD TVs and digital photo frames. Typical applications include energy saving functions in lighting equipment which automatically switch off when there are no people in the relevant space, quick starts achieved by detecting people.
