Product Overview

The MCP1755T-3302E/OT is a 16V high PSRR low dropout Voltage Regulator with short-circuit current fold back. This regulator provides up to 300mA of current. The input operating voltage range is specified from 3.6 to 16V continuous, 18V absolute maximum. The MCP1755 typically delivers 70dB of ripple rejection at 1kHz, making the device ideal for AC sensitive applications like GFCI and AFCI circuit breaker designs. The current fold back feature is a true short-circuit current fold back. The device current will fall back towards 10mA under short-circuit conditions. When the short is removed, the device will recover and continue operating.
